I was scared to post this, because I'm not sure how it would be taken, I don't want to sound rude, or offend anyone. But I would really appreciate insight on this topic.
I was wondering what your opinions were on being mixed races, as in being Japanese, French and other ethnicities.
Some I've come to see find that it's not that appealing, and others don't seem to have a problem with it.
Is being mixed races like this uncommon..?

In the United States, Japanese are the most common Asian to marry out of their race.. Most often to Whites.

I'm Hapa myself(My dad is Welsch/Italian, My mom is Filipina), so I don't really have a problem with it, as long as the Man doesn't abuse the woman.

100% apathy towards them. their existence has zero effect on my life.

it really depends on the race that's mixed. if it's the product of white man-asian woman mix than i can't help thinking about things like ameican GI's, white ESL teachers, night clubs...generally negative things. in any case i try to avoid them if i can to prevent this unpleasant train of thought.

There is a flaw in the presentation of the statistics. Japanese make up the smallest population of the main Asian groups in America. We end up marrying outside our race in the U.S. because it's hard to find another Japanese mate in America. Japanese in Japan rarely marry outside their race.

I believe that. Even the Japanese restaurants over here are usually owned by Koreans and Chinese.

Exactly, that is why white people in the US have very little outside of race marriage. Biggest outside of race marrying is for smallest races, and there is not a lot of Japanese in the US. .
