Full Version: No Future For North Korea

A while ago, a group of North Korean defectors were rescued near Japan's Ishikawa area, and they talked about the harsh reality they faced in North Korea.

The man that led the escape said, "there was no future there, so we decided to escape."

As the number of defectors has been increasing, North Korean authorities have tightened the border security as well.

The fact that North Korean citizens are escaping from all sides despite the tight security really shows how much of an empty promise North Korea's military-first policies and 3-generation inheritance are, and the severity of the food shortage, economic problems, and general uneasiness.

Now NGOs, religious organizations and tourists are telling the 'real' stories about North Korea, but these defectors really showed how bad the situation is, especially when a military fund manager escaped.

What North Korea's 3 Kim's have been advertising as "2012 Greatest Nation" and nice food and housing all turned out to be a blatant lie.

that would be incorrect. some of these people are not commies, and if you ask them to stay in nk, they will be the first to run, therefore they are not delusional, they are hypocrites. embarassedlaugh.gif

i hope there will be a kim jae-kyu in nk that will rid the root of the problem.

That will be great but doesn't look like that'll happen anytime soon . The dilemma is the ones in powers are not suffering from the starvation. The recent news says that NK just imported hundreds of luxurious cars for the high ranking of communist members. When they enjoy such fancy life, they probably want NK regime lasts forever.

If people were reallly starving, Then that would mean that the population of North Korea would be decreasing every year..
When in fact the Population of North Korea is still increasinly, marginal, but still increasing..What you are is being brainwased by the media, being told North Korea is starving. When nobody truly knows, since they aren't even allowed in the country.

The World Food Program and Doctors Without Borders are allowed in the country and have verified that people are starving.
This corroborates the claims by the thousands of North Korea refugees who flee the country.
