Which kind of European do you consider the best? Personally, I like the Italians. They never really colonized Asia and they are the least racist european race. I dislike Brits the most.

I think "what European culture do you like the most?" would be a better title.

I changed the title. I was just curious. I know what kind of european Chinese and Japanese like, but not Koreans. I can post this in C-chat and J-chat too I guess.

It also has to do with physical features. For example, Brits usually have very gaunt features and under-bites. While Irish tend to have more reddish hair. Swedish have small eyes and heavy browbones.

Italians are amoung the most racist european ,you should see them shouting and imitating monkeys to football players like Samuel Eto'o or any black football players....and i haven't talk about how they treat chinese or arabic peoples yet.....

You're kidding me, right?!!! Italians are one of the most racist Europeans I have came across!

Oh, and let's not forget how the Soccer team Perugia fired Ahn Jung-Hwan for the goal that he made for S Korea's soccer team, against $hitaly, in the 2002 World Cup.

Blatant racism right there. Had that happened in the US, the media would be all over the manager of the soccer team for booting somebody because of his nationality.

ROME (CNN) -- Seven people went on trial for manslaughter Tuesday in Italy, accused of failing to predict an earthquake that killed more than 300 people in L'Aquila in April 2009.

The seven -- six scientists from the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology and a member of the Civil Protection Agency -- were members of a governmental panel that prosecutors accuse of giving a "rough, generic and ineffective assessment of the seismic risk."

The seven, members of a so-called "major risks" panel, published "inaccurate, incomplete and contradictory information about the dangers of seismic activity undermining the protection of the population," prosecutors said.

The first hearing Tuesday morning in L'Aquila's tribunal was devoted to technical matters and claims by injured parties.

The city of L'Aquila has requested 50 million euros ($68 million) in compensation.

Only one defendant was in court, the vice president of the panel, Bernardo De Bernardinis. "I thought it was important to be here, not only because this is my turf but also to underline the professionalism ... of the other public officers," De Bernardinis told reporters.

The trial has attracted the attention of the scientific world.

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) wrote to Italy's President Giorgio Napolitano in June last year to express "concern" over the indictment of its Italian colleagues.

"The charges against these scientists are both unfair and naive," the letter said. The basis of the indictments appears to be that the scientists failed to alert the population of L'Aquila of an impending earthquake. However, the letter continues, "there is no way they could have done that credibly."

Italy has been getting a bad rep lately I notice, especially with Jersey Shore being popular.

First of all, as you guys know, I hate and despite the $hitalians. They hated on Ahn Jung-Hwan and that gay @$$ soccer team, Perugia, fired him when he scored that goal against $hitaly.

I will never forget that, and from that day on, I look down on and despise the $hitalian people.

I also tend to dislike French people. Some of them are nice, esp their women! I have watched Korean shows where there was this Korean guy who married a French chick. She is damn hot looking, and could even make Kimchee!

However, the average French male I have met are either stubborn/hardhead people, or will try to diss you in many ways. You can't seem to change their minds and they also blatantly criticize you for your work if it's not "perfect" in their eyes.

The Europeans ethnic group I like the most are either the Swedish people or the Finnish people. They tend to be nice and not super racist like the $hitalians and the francophones.

u're right. italians, greeks, spanish, portuguese are all more related to middle-easterners than northern europeans. the reason why there are blonds in these countries is because their ancestors invaded from the north during the late roman empire.
