I've heard of both of those, but I've never seen them yet. Is it really good icon_smile.gif ?

This explains most of the J-dramas series, for those who are interested and have questions about it.

As for my previous post, I noticed that there are two versions of “Friends“, I meant the one from the 2002 version with Won Bin. I highly recommend this series for those who are curious about cross-cultures or cultural shock. It's only four episodes, so it's not that long embarassedlaugh.gif2 .

Another that I wanted to say is the one on Love Letter's actual name "Koibumi". I liked this one because of the long term relation between the two spouses and their child are being conflicted from a letter of the husband’s old girlfriend for having cancer. This made him quit his job and stay with his ex-girlfriend from her last days of being alive. However, the wife disapproves and doesn’t want him to leave.

Ok, I guess I'm done for now, I just wanted to keep the ball rolling with this thread embarassedlaugh.gif2 .

Great Teacher Onizuka was on the top of my list but after watchin g the first season of Gokusen, GTO is number 2 heehee.

I watched Friends with Kyoko and Won Bin about three times... I really enjoyed it. I'm glad that it was 4 episodes though because if it was any longer than that, I would've gotten bored with it...

I also liked this one drama called Koi wo nan nen sundemasu ka? "Are you in Love" or something like that... It was on TV last year and I watched it religiously... http://jdorama.com/drama.587.htm

Others I enjoyed was Otousan and Hakoiri Musume along with Pride.
OH!!!!

Also, there was this one called STAND UP. It was sort of like the Japanese version of American Pie.

Ok, time to keep this thread somewhat alive again embarassedlaugh.gif2 .

Waterboys -

Another favorite of mine, if you watched the movie then you'll probably love this series. It takes place after the movie (I think around two years), when the first water boys were introduced. A young school captain named Kankuro Shindo, was part of the swimming team and had an high interest in synchronized swimming. He sets up four members who, who have no experience whatsoever, that have the slightest chance of even making a mediocre swimming team. What makes it worse is that teachers disapprove the idea, since it makes overcrowding of noise and pollution to their town similar to the previous event. However, that still didn't stop them, and are now ready to face any challenge for the love their sport.

I heard that there was a second series, but I didn't see that yet. Guess, I'll see it whenever I get the chance to embarassedlaugh.gif2 .

Sorry, late reply. Yeah they are really good dramas, Summer Snow is funny and also emotional. Love Generation is a great love story starring Matsu Takako and Takuya Kimura. Those are amongst some of the classics of J-drama so highly recommended.

I know Matsu Takako, she was great in Itsumo Futari de, I only saw Matsu Takako from Pride (another old favorite series I forgot to mention). That's cool, I might take your word on that embarassedlaugh.gif2 .
