Okay, I can help a little with this coz I've picked it up from movies ... Hopefully not too far off ...
thank you -- Shukriya (pronounced like the English word shook, then "cree" like in creek, then "uh" ... so shook-cree-uh)
hello -- For Hindus, "Namaste" (num like in number, then ah like you're saying "ah, interesting", then stay like the word stay ... so num-ah-stay). For Sikhs, "Sat Sri Akal" (sut shree ah-cawl). For Muslims, I'm not sure -- maybe salaam?
bye -- Phir Milenge (pronounced sort of like the English word pier, then mul like the first part of mullet, then ang like in the word hang, and then gay ... so "pier mul ang gay")
i love you -- "Main tumse pyaar karta hoon" if the person saying it is a guy, and "Main tumse pyaar karti hoon" if the person saying it is a girl. (pronuciation sounds more like the English words "May tomb say", then pyar, which means love, then the English words "cart uh who" ... Replace the uh with an "ee" if its karti rather than karta).

Yes, Bollywood movies are in Hindi if you're thinking of movies starring Sharukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar, etc.
There is also a thriving Tamil movie industry too though, and Tamil movies also have songs in them.
Additionally, there are movies in many other Indian languages.

I guess KKd has done a good job. I'll just add to her post:
Boy = 'Ladka' (not ludka) so, "you're a good boy" = "Tum acche ladkay ho"
Manager = 'Pra-ban-dhak' (Not many hindi speaking people know this for it's rarely used in hindi)
Bye : 'Nam-aste' (once again, in popular use) or 'al-vi-da' (Though that's urdu). There are many other variations, depending on where you are in India.
You're welcome = "Aapka swaa-gat hain"
Yes = "Haan" and not 'ha' like, 'Yes, I do love you" = "Haan, main tumse pyaar karta (if a guy is saying this and 'karti' if a girl is saying this) hoon"
You're mean = "Tum bedard (bay-darr-da) ho" ( 'dhurth' is a better word perhaps, in this context, for mean but it's not an easy one)
Jupiterz they speak more than just Tamil in South India. 'Malyalam' is the prominent language in Chennai.

There is no right or wrong. When you are Romanizing the language, there is no "right or wrong". There is a right way to do it if you are using the devanagari script.
So, it just depends.
