Could be anything.

My biggest regret from high school was not dating the hottest Asian chick in our school. She was a solid 9 and could have been a 10 if she had a bigger chest. Guys and girls from all the surrounding schools all knew her. We had been flirting for a while and got friendly at a party one day, but against my better judgement, I listened to my friends who thought she was an evil witch and choose not to follow up.

Another regret occurred in Uni when I choose not to date another chick because she was a 'FOB.' She would have been a 9, had the biggest chest you'll fund on an Asian, and was really kind and innocent at the time. It was almost like she had no clue how hot she was. Funny thing is, I'm now looking for a FOB because I want to improve my mandarin.

These were real rejections too, not 'I probably could haves.' I liked them, they liked me, but I have an annoying habbit of finding reasons not to date someone

I think my biggest regret would be that I have never fought hard enough for someone's affection....lol Also, another regret would be not being able to fall in love with some of the good guys that crossed my path. shrug.gifs

Did you give them a chance in the beginning?

I mean, I just go with the flow. I guess I gave them a chance to prove themselves. I always feel like either they deserved better or they annoyed me a bit....lol

I regret losing contact with a really good friend I used to have when I was a kid. I've heard before that you only have one true best friend, and she was that true best friend. She was always there for me, and we just spent every day together. (not an exaggeration, literally every day.) But as we got older and went into middle school, we started to go separate ways and hang out with other people. We ended up not talking for a few years. After that we entered High School, and I had a class with her so we gradually started talking. She tried to get close to me again - inviting me over, wanting to hang out, things like that. But we were totally different people then, and we seemed like strangers. And honestly it was awkward. Too much time had passed to just pick up where we left off and be besties again. So I basically ignored her efforts and gave up on trying to rekindle any sort of friendship. We graduated last year and I haven't seen her since. I really regret not letting her back into my life, as well as drifting apart from her in the first place. I realise now that she was the best friend I've ever had, and I'll probably never meet someone like her again.

Ironically, I lost a good Asian woman because I didn't act clingy/needy. The truth is that I am one of those clingy/needy guys who get strongly attached to people. However, I learned to control myself because I know everyone has a need for some alone time. Never thought discipline and self-control would screw me over big time.

I have always thought women would get creeped out by clingy guys but I am not so sure anymore.

In my first year of college (in my second now) i was just walking around and looked at this girl then as soon as i looked she looked right back at me and i had to do that awkward quickly look at something else thing. And this actually happened a couple time but the other times i was just innocently looking to see who it was. Now she probably thinks i'm a creep...

It was a long-distance thing. Australia is very far away from America. I kept my mouth shut because I thought girls get creeped out if the guy told her how he felt on the Internet rather than in real-life.

Anyway, she hooked up with a different guy from America. He told her he likes her so much that he only wants to date her and no one else. This was after talking to her for only a couple of hours. It was on the Internet too.
I think most girls would get creeped out by a guy who confesses those kinds of feelings after talking for only a few hours over the Internet. Even if such a thing happened in real-life, I think a lot of girls would still get creeped out.
Apparently, she did not find that to be creepy at all.

Her reaction contradicts with an experience that I had with another girl. The other girl was creeped out when I asked her out on Facebook after talking to her in real-life on 4-5 different occasions.

I should also mention "Australia Girl" is more introverted while "Local Girl" is more extroverted. Maybe that explains the difference in reactions.

Note: I am not whining. I am trying to figure out what is going on.

she sounds needy and clingy. sounds like he did you a favour. its hard to develop a sufficient picture of a person in just a couple of hours.

surely you have more experiences than just these 2 to compare?

To be fair, she is only 18 years old. I could relate to her so I won't judge. I saw his dating profile. He seems like a good guy but of course I haven't talked to him before.

Yes, I admit it. I don't have a lot of experiences. There were probably two or three other women but they didn't work out either.

Maybe they worry about making the wrong impression
and then making no impression at all.

women can be hard to understand even with experience. i recommend readying some pick up artist material, not for getting laid, but for key concepts like "demonstrating high value" and "demonstrating low value", building attraction and understanding what women look for.

The only thing you can do is tell her how you feel. If you pursue her aggressively, she would just get annoyed.
