The 16th Busan International Film Festival opened in South Korea on Thursday.
Many artistes from Asia were invited to walk the red carpet.
South Korean actress Oh In Hye was definitely the one the media did not miss.
The 27-year-old stole the attention from all the big names such as South Korean actor Jang Donggun, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing and French actress Isabelle Huppert, with her teeny-weeny orange dress.
She eventually became an overnight sensation and the most searched subject online, with photographs of her spreading like wild fire on the Internet.
The dress made her the media darling, but also got her into a controversial debate among the people that lasted for days.
To clear up any misunderstanding, Oh sat down with reporters and discussed her view about the entire incident.
"I was just so surprised to see the reactions. There were positive replies, and also some bad ones.
"I merely went to the event hoping to get snapped by the photographers, but I think the situation blew up into something out of my control.
"There were some who criticised me for going overboard but what I want to make clear is that I didn't seek the attention on purpose."
Asked why did she choose the dress, Oh said: "It was my first time on the red carpet, I didn't know what to wear.
"An unni (elder sister) from my movie recommended a wedding shop in Seoul, I didn't have much to choose from, so I just rented that dress.
"The dress was worn by Baek Ji Young six years ago."
She continued, "I just wore whatever they gave me. The dress was so old that a lot of it needed extra tailoring."
There was also speculation that Oh is one of the actresses involved in the "casting couch" scandal in South Korea several months ago.
The scandal involved a series of sex videos showing the women “entertaining” a high-ranking official at his residence.
