I am curious...how much do you guys know about all things Khmer? Do you have very basic knowledge of Khmer culture or do you seek time to research things related to the culture of Khmer culture. As for me, Cambodia was not really discussed in class so I have to seek out information about things related to Cambodia and it's people if I want to know something for myself. If anything, in my classes, Europe is discussed more in detail.
In the class in Cambodia we learn a lot about Khmer culture. I read last version textbook that student study now a day. it is quite improving the changing of Education system also very good for me I think it some kind of Australian System.
Personally, I learn a little bit of Khmer culture at school but a lot at home and personal research (Books, Document, and many old people, professor, Expert, and on the internet and the last is Traveling). I am extremely interesting in culture all over the world. I love and appreciated Chinese culture a lot.. But I am so proud when I studying about Khmer Culture. The more you do research the more you find out it so creative and calm, genius, perspicuous... I been studying about Angkor life style, Cambodian during France Colonial lifestyle, Kbach Khmer (Khmer Decoration).. Khmer Custom, Khmer Dance, Khmer Entertainment, Khmer language, Khmer Concept, Khmer Poem, Traditional Khmer Folk Story, Khmer Cinema.. Khmer History.. Khmer Belief... There are Hundreds of books you can find both from Khmer and international Author.
I believe that Every Nation always have things to proud of, Khmer is the same We have tons of things to talk about!
Cambodia kingdom of Wonder!!! ^^
