Megumi(47), who has been thought to be dead this whole time, is now speculated to have been alive in Pyongyang until 2005, and has attracted much attention recently.

13 years old at the time of kidnapping in 1977, Megumi was confirmed alive for the first time when Korean Air 858's terrorist Kim Hyon-Hee confirmed in 1987 that he was educated Japanese from Megumi.

Afterwards North Korea stated during the N.Korea-Japan summit that Megumi died in March of 1993, but the retrieval of her has been delayed until now.

North Korea must reveal the truth about what Daily Choson has found out about Megumi via Pyongyang's citizen resources, and must release all kidnapped and captured Japanese citizens and Japanese Koreans, fishermen, soldiers, and Tongyeong's daughter without conditions and immediately.

I saw an article on this. Imagine what her family would think when they realize that she is alive.
