no its a movie whining about how unfortunate the 2 atom bombs dropped on japan were.

gee, let's jsut forget about the 20 million chinese, mostly civilians, that the japanese brutally slaughtered and whine about 2 atom bombs that were dropped on them because we were too stubborn to surrender and were going to fight to the death.

its bull$hit. that movie is bull$hit and so are those class A war criminals running the Japanese government. I can't wait until they all fu-king die.

Then maybe the Japanese people can be allowed to come to terms with what they did.

what does it have to do with the movie?

stay on topic please

^anyway, I saw a documentarie on the history channel about how Japan had the knowledge, but not the materials to create an atomic bomb.....

anyway, according to the documentarie, the german officers had to surrender at an American port, but before that, they killed the Japanese officers to get rid of any evidence......

Make your own movie to whine in (I'm not referring to the Chinese people or Nanjing, I'm referring to you DR you whine enough for an entire movie seires).

Both events were tragic, neither was justified.

The movie is not forgetting about the Chinese people that died, it's not about that. It's not even really about all the Japanese that died in the dropping of the bombs. It's about a submarine's attempt to stop another bomb.

Leaving the politics aside, I think this movie looks interesting. Though it does have a Hollywood feel to it.

a nuclear kamikaze submarine going into the american fleet = Japan might very well be able to win the war, at least I think thats whats going on

you see the mini sub depart in 3/4 of trailer #2 described as a "secret weapon" by an american officer that might shift the balance of power, and the girl tied to what seems to be a nuclear bomb, seems like thats whats going on to me
Silent_Nanashi
I don't know any Japanese, so how is the girl a weapon?
kpjoon
the girl being a weapon... that is VERY anime-ish embarassedlaugh.gif

exactly the germans came close and shipped there materials to japan in the end of the war, I think this story is a fictional novel based on real events though
