No one can answer this?

It's 2010.
Or earlier depending on a revolt....

And now I can understand why no one answered. It's too difficult to predict.

Yes. You are allowed a one time term of 6 years if you are voted in as president.

well at least she's doing something.. for now, i wouldn't want anyone else as president since there's no lesser evil yet. and as added factor, she's helping the visayas islands improve economically.. a group of islands that have more to offer in terms of tourism and peace compared to mindanao and luzon. there's also room for infrastructure improvement in these areas.

Well I do suppose I could.

Once I clamp down on the country with my iron fist, Pinoys better get ready for hell.
All kidding a side, I would do pretty much the same things GMA is doing right now. So if she finds a way to declare martial law sometime near the end of her term, all them Filipinos better watch out because I know what’s gonna happen next.
Ok seriously, no president is going to have an easy time running that government. People are going to have to put a little faith in the system and let it run its course before they are going to see any major change. Besides look at the value of the peso right now she has to be doing something right.

Read the Philippine Constitution!
40 is the minimum age qualification, must be able to read or write, a Filipino citizen, must be living in the Philippines for at least 10 years.
and most important is , must be a registered voter!

If it’s a military take over you can just throw that constitution out the window, though.

Maybe what you should do then is round up a few people and hold another EDSA.

Considering the circumstances on how she became president the first time and the attempted coups I am surprised the country isn’t in worse shape than it is. How much where you expecting from her? Corruption is a part of life in the PI. Things have been this way for over 30 years. Are you expecting someone to come in and change the way things are over night? Maybe in 1 year? 4 years? 10 years? If she can just get the country on track by the end of her current term I think that in it self will be an accomplishment.

2 Things are changing but slowly. The Philippines is going to be a third world nation for a long time to come.

Communism is like last years lakers it only looks good on paper. It will not stop the brain drain it will only increase it. The NPA can suck d!ck they prey on the very people they swore they were fighting for. There is a reason why phils is the only country left with such a longstanding communist insurgence, the gap between the rich and poor is the largest in SEA. I agree with u though that something drastic has to be done but the communist system is flawed, the very people in power right now would only switch sides.

you are right, RL33, communism is not the answer... think where Joma SIson is now? and who is doing his fighting for him? and why is there so many splinter group in the NPA by the way?
on the other hand, P!GMA's approval rating is in an all time low at 38%. nyahaha... which will however have a backlash in that the government will manufacture some event or events to enhance their performance and regain some favorable response from the people...

It would throw the country into another period of chaos not to mention bitter fighting. We must really get rid of the old hacienda system though, the half dozen or so families that control the country are hindering the country's progress.
