Hello. Like many of these people I have listed in the title, I am a person which was born in Europe (russia) but have my ancestors from Mongolia. My family is like many groups like Kalmyks and other Mongoloid Siberian people. What I am wondering is, how do you view yourselves? I know that for my family we are always consider to be Asians, not Russian, but maybe some of you other people does?
How is your opinion?

It's important to keep that in mind, and be healthy about your identification, which focuses more on why you're different from the rest of the population. Many hispanic peoples in Latin America when they come to USA, they tell the census/government people that they're white when they clearly don't look white...but mixed. Perhaps, this is your genetic make up--mixed, but your identity should be Asian since that is what you most "resemble".

Kalmyk is not mixed, actually. They is direct descend from Mongolian during time of Genghis Khan. Almost no Kalmyk is having white genetics in them.
