I have a friend who is Filipino and Indian. I thought he was full Filipino til he told me his mom was Indian.

It's really more how do you feel about it and how does your family feel about it than anything else.

There are many half Indian/Filipinos in Antipolo and they are the kids of the 5/6 Indian national fathers who marry Filipinas who are usually their alalays who backride their motorcycles.

Will it help if my features are more Indian than oriental/malay-ish? I always get mistaken as Indian/Arab and that's the common question I get from Indian guys in my college. It's a great ice breaker! Ha ha

People naturally like those with similar features and "looks" as them so it's no surprise.

Unless of course there's a "trend" going around.

Since Spaniards especially in the colonial era have high amounts of Arab genes because Spain was a Muslim country and even Queen Ysabel of Spain was a Muslim and of Arab desent so Filipino/Arab mix may result in Spanish looking.

I tried doing that in a European forum and they denied it and even called me Afrocentric! Even after I presented hard genetic evidence they then said ALL Europeans had these same markers! When I asked them to show me where it says that, they just resorted to more name calling.

any dark-skinned ones? been going out with a guy of indian descent (caribbean) for a while now since i made this thread but he was born here. in all modesty we look good together. i've only dated filipinos before and in comparison i realize my past bf's and me looked like a mismatch.
