Rumor of plagiarism has surfaced.
"Mua Bang Gia" sung by Khanh Trung, composed by Khanh Don is believed to have been fully plagiarized by a Cambodian singer.
Many Vietnamese singers have been known to copy foreign songs. Such issue has persistently been thorny to Vietnamese audience. Many spent a great deal of time criticizing the singer. Criticism against unoriginal artists is right and should be continuously upheld by true appreciators of music.

Due to Vietnamese audience being extremely sensitive towards plagiarism because of the many incidents in the past, when the Cambodian version surfaced many had accused Khanh Trung of plagiarizing. The singer felt greatly troubled and dissapointed. Initially, he intent to overlook the incident; however, if the pressure keeps mounting up, he may have to resort to legal mean to clear his name. The song was composed by his best friend and ex-band mate Khanh Don. The two are confident that they have sufficient evident to win the trial if forced to take the matter to the court.
I can testify about how bloodily ugly Vietnamese listeners are when they think a singer has shamed their country. There have been incident of fans slinging real rocks at singers believed to have plagiarized.

Cambodian Music is improving now , I believe near future it will change.
