Why? I think Viet music is pretty good.

Viets musix is getting too commercial. Every singer is considered to be "star" without ability of a singer. But not every song z bad, I do enjoy some of them.
By the way, I like any kind of music (R&B, Hiphop, Pop, Rock)...hmm, American music most of the time.

i can agree with you there, some people just have the looks but not the talents and can be called a star. But i listen to the good songs only, not from those fake stars 2

Hemm, hemm, When I said "good" I meant "pop-like" vietnamese music, like english pop (cranberries, aha, daniel powter...) I know it's stupid to ask for viet music which sounds like european pop but I've grown up here and I'm used to it, I can't stand "cải lương"
