So like I noticed that song "Lus Npe Hu Ua HMOOB" posting...yea, I have that song. Well, it belongs to my dad. It's a cool song. It's rather old but you can still make out the words. I have it on cassette and c.d. It's a cool patriotic song. My dad got the song a long time ago when it was cool for southeast hmong and chinese hmong to exchange cultures. yea, now that culture exchange has kind of disappeared. I think that's sad.
anyway, my dad has a huge hmoob suav song collection and it's so nice to actually sit down to listen to them. even though the Hmong do not have a country, the patriotic songs make one feel more special. this is one thing i like about the hmoob in china, they actually have songs to keep their people going strong.
anyway, "Lus npe hu ua Hmoob" is suppose to be the anthem of the Hmoob of Paj Tawg Teb, China.

When I was little I used to watch the music video with my mom and lil sisters......performed by Mee Hang's younger sister....and the music is better sounding too (less "military"sounding with Chinesy instruments etc)....you guys/gals should check that out sometime....I still remember that song to this day....I dont know why.....

Well, if you like that song, you should definitely check out the "Pang Hang" version. Or if there is another newer version. It's much easier to the ears, especially if you are not Hmong.
