Did anyone hear Namie Amuro's new - Queen of Hip-Pop album? It's mad hot! I'm definitely loving some of the beats in the album. Songs like want me want me, No, Wowa, Girl Talk, I wanna show you my love, my darling, etc are all pretty good.

I had the album on loop for the past 2+ hours lol. It would be longer but i gotta go out again. It's not often that i find an album that has so many good songs.

This album is full of hits.. It's a great album .. even though i'm not into the whole.. and let's just say i'm not a fan of hip hop music so that's saying alot

Although she's way too Americanised and her vocals are really weak.
The songs are excellent though, esp I Love You, No and Ups & Downs.

lol I ^^ yeah I agree she is too Americanize becuase when I first saw her on Tv at Japan Music awards 2005 I thought she is Black Americans because she is dark and she sings in English 2

Her vocals are laid back on this album but i think the song "All For You" makes up for that.. i personally don't like to many ballads on an album..

- Namie Amuro isnt too Americanized and in fact- she doesnt look like most people when singing hip hop in America- dressed in bikinis and looking like a slut [sorry- its not supposed to be an insult- only my opinion]

How is she not? The majority of her lyrics are even in English, not to mention the style of her music is very American in itself. I could say that most of them sound like a mixture of random ripoffs from various popular American artists.
"All for you" - she sounded like she was struggling pretty bad with the higher notes; with that said, the notes weren't even that high
I would say she is one of the weakest vocalists but she has some great songs (creditted to good composers)
I don't hate her though, so don't get me wrong as if i'm trying to bring her down, its just how i feel about her

She hasn't COMPOSED any songs but she's written lyrics for songs

LOL! It's a cheap rip off of Lil John. I was like did Lil John do a cameo on her album? Then i listen carefully, and it's definitely someone else. Heh the song is playing as I type this. Yeah! What!

I actually DLed her album haha and it's not bad. I like her upbeat songs more than her slow songs.

The fact that in the song "ALARM" she says "Kick me harder, kick my booty" tells me that she doesn't know any of the English that she's saying.

And is she saying "Tick the lady tick the baby?"
