How about this anime?

I loved this baby!
For anyone who's seen and liked it, this is probably a good line to remember: "Hideki wa Hentai!" ~Chii

Chii is a persocon, an android... or a pc. it's kind of a crossover really.

Persocons are quite normal nowadays and just for clarity's sake: Chii is not the only persocon in the world.

Though she is a special model.

This story begins when Motosuwa Hideki, the main character in the serie, becomes a rounin (student retaking university entry exam) and decides to move to Japan.
Too bad for him he's got the talking-to-himself-all-the-time thing, making a fool out of himself frequently...

I won't give too many spoilers for those people who haven't seen it, but really, this one is HILARIOUS!

BTW, it is an ecchi, wich mightmake it unsuitable for people below the age of 13.
Ecchi: innocent naughty stuff like skirts moving up in the wind and such.

i've never seen it, though i want to. what's it about? i'm thinking about getting the vcd, but am not sure if it's good.

you'll love it, it's kind of a semi-romatic comedy with a teeny-weeny bit of drama by the side. lovely

Ive got all 26 episodes of the fan sub. The graphics are ok. I burned them on CD. But it's a good anime. It's got its comical and touching moments. Check out Onegai Sensei. Its comparable to chobits.

I downloaded 1-23 on Kazaa.. it was interesting at first.. then I got bored.. and no longer downloaded.. now there is FRUIT BASKET!!

Ironically I just purchased the first DVD over this past weekend and I watched the first six episodes. It's nice. It has humor and perhaps originality; still, it reminds me of a cross between Saber Marionette J and Love Hina.

If you have a newsgroup browswer or can access usenet, you can d/l a lot of anime. Try GrabIt. That is an excellent newsgroup browser.

Just a note, the Chobits series is still going, I believe. I bought the import versions which are much better than the American ones. Ergh, the American ones give you like 2-3 episodes, but the import ones had like 9 episodes on each, except the 3rd one which only had 8. Anyway, the series has more seasons. I read in an anime article that there are more volumes coming, so I'm assuming the series is still running. Don't quote me on this because I could be totally wrong. I saw this in Newtype, which is the Americanized version of a Japanese monthly anime magazine. It was cool getting the import versions too because I got it all for 45 dollars. The only downside is that the subbing has spelling errors, which surprised me.

Yeah, i remember you lending me the series. the subtitles couldn't catch up with the dialogue at the last episodes. If you get the next season(if they are doing anymore), let me borrow it, ok?

Porn in most people's mind today, is sexually explicit acts or intercourse. Even if it weren't intercourse, 'porn' refers to explicit sexual content. I don't see any porn in this anime - only fantasies of Hideki's perversed mind. Nothing sexual. Nothing of pornography content.

Besides, it's practically stamped on the covers: 16+

[COLOR=purple] - i just watched 3 eps of it an hour ago!!!! it makes ur crazy watchig it in japanese w/ very bad subs., but gravtation was the worse. god even the english subs were bad!!!! oh, well, the series is very good so far and i have all the eps. for free, i borrowed from a friend who got it from a friend in japan who bought from some guy who sold it to her for so many yen and he got paid by....i'm done hehehehe
