this movie is coming out soon and it's called the GREAT RAID. it's about the greatest rescue attempt in history, when the american soldiers try to rescue POW'S from the brutal evil japanese soldiers. This is going to be a great war history movie and i wanna see the evil imperial japan army get their retrobution from the americans.

This reminds me of a book I read called "Ghost Soldiers", which talks about the Bataan Death March and the rescue of the POWs by rangers. It's not as dramatic as it seems, as by the time those POWs were rescued, most of the Japanese had already left the camp and were demoralized as hell.

I hope this will be better than Windtalkers lol

How is that rascist? So you expect the Americans to be held captive? I expect good scenes in which Americans can finally fight back their oppresors.

The European theater gets more attention than the Pacific. I hope this movies does a good job in portraying history. ITs based on a true story. Definately hope its better than windtalkers. Damn you john woo.

Personally war movies are great if done right. I remember there was a movie out a while back (but I forgot the title) and there were Japanese-Americans that had protested it. I think there might be something similar with this movie if it depicts the Japanese in the wrong way.

God how many movies of war relating to Asians do they have to make? They beat this $hit to the ground, that I can't find any credibility in "patriotic" America anymore. My friends and I weren't impressed the minute we saw this previews, and brushed it aside. This one is for the melodrama queens, boohooohoo.
