If I am not mistaken, Malaysia follow British system, you will go to university through college or diploma for 2 or 3 years but the time in university will be much less becauase some of majors has been deducted from which you have taken during college.
In Indonesia is either way, mostly you go directly to University to get undergraduate degree. Or you can go to 3 years diploma degree first and then continue to university for 2 years to get undergraduate degree.
