I have read many topics racist toward Vietnamese from you guys Cambo. Personally, I agreed with you guys that Vietnamese treated you guys badly, it's like American did to Native American. However, it's just a common problem that happened all over the world between race vs race, right ? and same for Chinese with Tibetan and other smaller countries.

If you are smart enough you can make them to be your alliance or atleast, make them fear of you, that may prevent the vietnamese take your land piece by piece but if you guys intend to make them as your enemy then your entire race may be destroyed as well as your land will be quickly become theirs.

Dont ever make them as your enemy like the Chinese, French, Mongolian did. They alll made one same mistake is that they rated Vietnamese too low, they thought that Vietnamese are easy to mess with and easy to pick on.

Vietnamese, they are good at nothing but fighting that's what they are good at. The history 3000 years of Vietname is a proof and I assum that French, Chinese, American, Mongolian experienced this.

So, beaware of the vietnamese they are aggro type. If you dont believe me then you gotta look at the Vietnamese history it's a nation of never ending fatal war. Still today, they are fighting each other every single day. Leave them for god shake, let them eating each other well untill only one survivul but if you guys intend to mess with them now, they all will turn to you guys and swallow your entire a race.

what the hell... the chinese didn't really see it as a lost when they lost to the viets to gain back independence.. the song dynasty was declining... it was smart of the viets to be gentle with the chinese. never to offend them.. they manage to take over vietnam again in the 1400's. vietnam played their cards right by accepting chinese suzerainty which was better than direct control of their country. they paid their annual tribute but still have the freedom to exercise their rights.. the mongols lost due to the combined forces of the viets and chams. remember that. not once, but twice. mongols simply couldn't adapt to the jungle terrain and guerrilla warfare that the viets staged. the americans could have unleashed hell on the viets but didn't know who was the enemy or who was friend. dirty tactics,deception and determination made the vietnamese successful in wars.

Khmer Rouge regime wanted to follow the Maoist theory, therefor take the country back & block off outside interests which they had did for a very brief unsuccessful period in history. Most people think of communism as nasty. But not so, the Maoist theory which the current situation in Nepal = the peoples country. Pol Pot wanted to do the same in what Mao did for China, which was rid of all the foreign influence & troubles...what most countries who have monarchy run their country r usually puppets to outside interests i.e French-Indo China. Pol Pots, Maoist influenced theory was to start all over & build the country without outside interference. We all know the U.S is just that, always interfering in other countries only for their own benefit in the end.

Vietnam was able to reunite with Ho Chi Minhs brilliancy. Why they decided to go after Cambodia was wrongful. This is why CHina decided to attack Vietnam in a short war in the late 1970's. China was upset & Cambodia was its ally. China had a helping hand in achieveing Vietnams reunion with the north & south, but Vietnam was starting to show more loyalty to the Soviet Union bloc who was also a participateing party in the reunion of the north & south Viet country. China feared that the soviet would create tensions with China & Vietnam.

In this case Vietnam was starting to backstab China, also China was upset with the Cambodian invasion from Vietnam.
