Isn't it sad that pure Thais are naturally so ugly that you have to resort to putting 1/2 white and Chinese on television as your beautiful celebs? Pure Thais are very ugly. They are very brown with gross, ugly features that make them almost appear as Mexican ingigenous people.

I think it's not depends on the races pure or mixed.

i honestly don't think pure thais are ugly. and are you calling mexicans ugly as well? seriously, every ethnicity have their beauties and uglies, no matter if they're mixed or not.
thai film-makers usually resort to the better looking ones, who do have talent bc they know that beauties catch the audience's eyes. i mean, who would want an ugly and untalented leading couple? besides, not all leading couples are light or mixed. i've seen some dark ones who are equally as pretty as the the mixed/lighter ones.

anyhoo, mario is kinda cute. they all look so young. how old are they?
