Just finished watching this series and wow, I was so floored by how personal it was to me and I'm sure a lot of others who've seen it who are a bit disillusioned towards the future.
This is the first Japanese drama I've seen(watching IWGP now) and made me wish Korean dramas weren't so concerned with only amassing ridiculous plot twist upon plot twists and just focus on telling a story and simply being a character study.
One element that I loved about this series was the anticipation it built and built for the main dude to finally step forward towards his goal and get out of his regressive stage(which is probably why the title of this show is, Long Vacation) in his life and reach his goal.
I'm in my freshman year of college, 18, and don't know what the hell I want to do besides photography and/or advertising. So this series just struck the right notes with me.
Definitely recommend others who are just out of high school or in college to check it out.

A buddy of mine showed me a couple of the first episodes on burned CDs. After being hooked, I wanted to get them myself so she burned the entire series for me.
Is JTV where people can get dramas? If so, hook me up with the link. would appreciate it.
