Hey I just started to learn Vietnamese. I'm using the Rosetta Stone program. The problem is that I don't understand everything fully. I can get the just of the sentences but it is not enough because I want to know every word. It's quick and really easy and would help me out a great deal. Here's an example of the stuff that needs to be translated:

Em gái đang cầm một cái gì ở trong tay phải của em ấy.

Em gái đang cầm một cái gì ở trong tay trái của em ấy.

Một người đàn bà đang chỉ chỏ. Bà ấy đang chỉ bắng tay phải.

Một ngướ đàn bà đang chỉ chỏ. Bà ấy đang chỉ bắng tay trái.

Cấm rẽ trài

Cấm rẽ phải

Cấm đậu xe

Cấm rẽ hình chữ U

Coi chừng đại thứ

Coi chừng bó

Coi chứng trẻ em

Coi chừng nai

If you can help then PM me. Thanks a lot,
Eric

Thanks a lot Supernovasp! Next time I will pm you so we don't fill up these boards.

To Kenji shinoda, I'm white. My girlfriend is Vietnamese and her parents (especially her dad) want her to be with a Vietnamese guy. I'm Canadian. She told her Mom that I was trying to learn Vietnamese and her Mom thinks it's a good idea. We haven't told her that we're dating yet so I'm really trying to get on her good side. Plus it's always a good thing to know more than one language.

My best guess is that they meant "coi chu*`ng bo^'" for "watch out dad"
GenomVirues
Coi chừng nai = watch this

or in a polite manner " watch this for me"

Coi chừng bó= watch out for your father.

meaning; look after your father-- take care of your father.

您越南語是慢的。 embarassedlaugh.gif2

"Bó" doesn't make any sense at all. If you are talking about the word "father" in Vietnamese, it's "bố" not "bó".

probally typos
and i see lots of it

Here's the pictures. I'm pretty sure "bó" is bull. The other one looks like a kangaroo.
