Sam Rainsy is just another Vietnamese-hating Pol-Pot-wannabe. He'll be shot in the head pretty soon because God told Hun Sen to do so. You should prepare for his funeral.

at about 18:20 into the interview, she tried to pronounce a word that, supposedly, the vietnamese find to be offensive khmer rhetoric. i heard something like 'swaan'. anybody know what she was talking about?
i thought it was a good interview. she continually tried to push rainsy into a corner and really squeeze some answers out of him.
one question of hers that really bothered me was when she asked rainsy why he wouldn't return to be tried, to which he replied 'they haven't specified the charges' or something to that effect. who would want to return blindly to be tried by a government where the arrest and conviction of opposition mps is almost a casual affair?
how much does the british foreign office know about cambodian politics and human rights and how objective are they really being when they say cambodia has a free democracy? you can't have real democracy without human rights, and the fact that the european union and cambodian rights groups oppose the behaviour of the government should be a bold indication of the type of 'democracy' that's in effect.
but i enjoyed this interview. all politicians need to be pushed like that for answers. thanks for the link.

The unform is look like a Thai civil servant or Palimentary member.
The behavior of the Sam Rainsy Party is like a Prachatipat Party too. (Prachatipat is an opposition party in Thailand.)

I actually went to one of his campaigns at a small banquet once, very well-spoken and educated. He kinda resemble Bhumibol Adulyadej, King of Thailand.

Sam Rainsy is on Hun Sen's hit list. The PM has sent out words to his follower around the world to kill Sam Rainsy if they find him. The PM thinks Sam Rainsy is the main threat to his power therefore the PM wants him out.
