Usually those who ask about whether Filipinos are Asian are the other Asians who are left confused by ignorant Filipinos that should know better and also ask the same question. If that idiot mass of dung inside your skull does not have the correct numbers or the appropriate estimation, then let's just say that 10% of Filipinos have actually provided jobs and additional education... and 10% of 87 million would be 8.7 million. Therefore, do you really think that there are only 8.7 million true Filipinos? fu-k you and your fu-king ideas.

Filipinos,

1) Do not look like Polynesians

2) The two have different body types

3) Are two different types of people

The only reasons this arises is because there are a lot of Polynesians that are mixed with Filipinos, and there are a lot of Filipinos in Hawai'i. That's where the similarities end.

As for if Filipinos are asian or not, just look at the history of the Phillipines. The Aetas were there first (and I doubt there are a lot of people in the Phillipines, if any). Then came the brown people, which is what a lot of the Filipinos are today. Some call them Malay, and some are hesitant to even call it such a thing. Just look at Malaysia and Indonesia and you may find similarities between all three. Then theres the Chinese that came by (which is what a lot of Filipinos are or mixed with today) due to trading, which also supposedly brought Islam, since the Chinese traded with the Arabs. Then there is also speculation as to Indian and Arab mixture into the Phillipines.

As for the Spanish, very little (compared to what people believe) people are mixed with Spanish, what happened was that many took the surnames of the Spanish.

This might have been all discussed before, but just thought Id throw that in.
