i already know the races of several of you granted but i will in future try not to take this into account. what i mean is simply making an observation based on race even if its not negative is not allwed here. why? i want to see how many of the converstaions go when nobody is aware of tothers races or at least are not allowed to make comment on. ive not been subject to any racism on tis board but i have been told my opinions are certain humane issues are of less value as i m, not asian....this is what i dont want. i would like that it isnot even considered.....i know many of you will want to celebrate your race/culture and thats just dandy

im not arguing either way but the idea of regression is that the latest developments in science have all been more negative than positive like bombs guns etc and that since major medicianl breakthroughs which are stopping like penicillin etc there has been nothing really to note

true i would not be alive today but for the relatively new procedure of removing appendix
i heard it estimated somewhere that only 1% of the present population would be alive had it not been for inventions made in the last 100 years
however it could also be argued that many wouldnt be dead either

To be honest since people still show such an inclination towards nationlisim and other isim`s since many still look at war as a first recourse......

Since violent behavior is still so prevelent in so many areas of Human life then I seriously doubt that human morality will ever rise to such a level as too make tecnological advancment risk free.....

also what of the argument that we are reaching a threshold of population tyhat can be supported by this planet and that if we continue to reproduce at this rate we will end the world. whereas a regression would mean far more natural selection and population thinning eventually meaning a stonger human population without so many numbers
an attractive idea if you could be certain of making the cut!

So what is the suggestion here to have a limit on how many children a couple are allowed to have?
Many countries/governments do have such bans not entirely sure if they work though........

Hello. Regression theory won't wrk since ppl who are now on bottom economically will have a harder time climbing economic ladder if nothing new invented. New jobs are usually created with new inventions. Also, has technology grows so must education level in order for many to use or invent new technology. Has more ppl. get educated growth should stabilize or go down in some nations. Educated ppl., usually, have less kids.

Despite China's infamous One Child Policy, I know many people here my age who have siblings.

2) Not all inventions are created by intelligent people.
3) I agree that education is important, but education is also often overrated.
Not all jobs require people to have attended university; for most jobs, on the job training would suffice.
Most jobs train their employees, regardless of their education level.
Apprenticeship programs are also a good way to learn.

not sure about this one. i imagine that many people are put out of jobs by new technology. certainly manual labourers are whereas already richer engineers rub their hands greeedily.

i think a lot of supporters of regression theory say all these redundat specialiost from university are reason enough to stop technologival advancement and instead get more hands on jobs and apprentices etc..........
