Oh my bad black as in "Black person", we would say etem (tag) or itom (vis).

I visualized negro as a black person with a curly hair and mostly came from Africa. If the person is black but have straight hair I wouldn't call him negro, I would just call him otso-dos-bulan (8-2-moon), which means itomon. lol But if the person is black, have curly hair and a small person I would call him igorot...

It is so funny how ignorant you are. I mean I guess you've never been to Cordillera. May be you did, but only in Baguio City. Remember, Baguio City is made up of differenct ethnicity, but if you really want to meet a real Igorot, you have to go outside Baguio. Go to Itogon, Atok or Sagada. Or maybe in Ifugao, or Mountain Province, or perhaps in Kalinga and Apayao. There you will see the real Igorot. And to let you know, when I was young, I've stayed in Atok, Benguet for a month, and those people I have met are not dark. In fact one of our neighbor in La Union is married to an Igorot, and he is 100% pure Igorot. He stands 6'1" and he isn't dark either.

I think you need to meet and know these people before you jump into conclusion that they are just the same, because other posters would disagree with you.
