After the Khmer Rouge era, a lot of khmers fled the country and became refugees in a third country. With this in mind, who has relatives in other countries besides cambodia?

I have an aunt in Zweibrucken, Germany, cousins in Marseille, France, only one cousin here in Washington state, the rest in Cambodia.
Krypt!c
Not me, but i have relatives who went 2 the Philipines before going 2 the United States.

haha, my family did too. We actually stayed in a refugee camp in thailand and came here via the phillipines.
Krypt!c
Were you born in Cambodia?
crew
Yup! But left when I was two, and came here at six. I vaguely remember the refugee camps, and the phillipines.
Krypt!c
From what part?

Krypt!c
I think it's 4 hours away on the bumpy dirt road to Siem Reap.

haha why did you have to ask that question? I don't want to offend anyone, but what I heard about Thailand is something that should be put away. The phillipines was okay i guess, but the food rations wasn't that great. I went to kindergarten in bataan province, the teacher as I vaguely remember was awesome, I still have a picture of her and me together.
