Full Version: FAIR and EQUAL...is there any difference?
For me fair is more on subconscious while equal is more on physical.
Not all equal are fair and so not all fair are equal.
equal is used for something that can be measured...fair is used when it cant be meassured?

yeah, fair is more on measurements and justice. equal can mean equality on status amongst people.

fair - acceptable
eg. I got a fair share.
My share can be equal, less, or more than the shares of the other but since it is acceptable for me I can say that I got a fair share.
equal - the same, similar
eg. I got an equal share.
My share is not more or less than the other's share.
I don't think thats the right example..
