Funny....the other day at Barnes and Nobles I decided to look at the Dance music section to see What trance music CD's look like....stumbled across this...

At first I thought it was a Utada Hikaru trance remix CD....almost bought it...now I know it's not trance but just her American release.......anyone know if it's good???

My first CD by a Japanese was one by Sandii Suzuki, she did an album of Malay songs released in malaysia, waayy back in the early 90s(I was going through a pre-puberty periods :P). It featured some catchy remix of traditional malay songs as well as Japanese classics like Sukiyaki and Sakura.

First proper Japanese CD was Utada's First Love.

I didn't like her American release. I thought it was rather corny and didn't do her much justice.

Be my last? I thought that's a single, not an album? It comes with DVD though which is good. Although I heard lots of laughs about the PV (I never bothered to download that PV)

I thought that wasn't an album... The one that will be going to released in Japan I mean.. What I have read is that it was only a single and not included as a new album.. At first I thought that she has a new album also, & that was including "Be My Last" as the carrier single.. Well I’m happy to know that she's back in Japan because her last album wasn't that good compare to other album she had in Japan..

It's not really what I'd call easy listening. I don't find myself listening to it very often.

It was okay, although I seem to understand what she's singing in English.
But I like the Japanese album of hers better, even though I don't understand what she sang in Japanese.

Let's just say, it wasn't the best commercial option to release an album like this.
