I don't live there, but there are a lot of asians in BC Canada from what I hear, so I'm sure theres lots.

I live close to Vancouver, Canada. I'm in a small town called Port Coquitlam... Lots of white people here. If you wanna see lots of asians go to Richmond or something =P

Ah... Vancouver.

This is my first Autumn in Vancouver. So far it is quite similar to my hometown, Montreal. The rain, just giving me an idea of what we'll go through in the next months. Apparently, this is gonna be the winter except colder.

In Montreal, winter is so painful, wedo get lots of sunny days, but the sun is just a tease, in fact, the temperature is really coldest when there is the sun out. Then the wind just blows that powdery extremely cold snow on you. Your face kind of contracts because it is so cold. I really wish the rainy winter is nicer.

I go to UBC, just started. It is a nice school. It does have a new school feeling as the school itself is pretty new. New buildings pop up all the time. I used to go to McGill for the last 5 years. That was kind of fun,the school was located in the heart of downtown, so we'd go out all the time. But the food is so expensive and bad in montreal that its not worth going out for lunch.

Well, gotta go to school now.

I'm from Olympia, WA ... that's only three hours away.
I try to visit Vancouver when I can but my last trip to Canada was to Victoria instead. Yeah, it's a lot more "British" but I'd rather live in Vancouver.

vancouver rules, but i just heard recently that 2 asian people got shot at A pho 66 in van city, i bet you heard that news arleady, its on the news, pretty scary, but that happens lots in van city i bet,

vancouver is fun but sometime if your in the wrong area at the wrong time, things can happen

heh i feel pretty safe in van most of the times...probably safer than i should feel lol. ppl don't scare me much...they can only kill u! haha...my friends worry 'bout me more than i do!

i had to do this work experience thing 'round there for a week...at the courts.

it wasn't THAT bad walking 'round there...but it was pretty bad compared to the places i usually go lol

yes, there are lots of japanese in vancouver.....especially in the downtown area.....but they are scattered all over greater vancouver.....

West side use to be full of chinese but i think the white people are making a come back

Poco- half taiwanese/ half korean

burnaby- East indians/ flips/ nammers

East van- Chinese/ east indians/ flips and nammers

there are lots of asians EVERYWHERE in vancouver lol

yeah, most of the white people went to the country side to live......places like abbortsford,mission,aldersgrove and etc....

very true. in one of my classes, there's only 2 non-asians out of the 30 students... 2

in my calculus i only got two non chinese
