It's incomplete, but have fun.

Mr Tree that's a little wrong though.

Ai $hiteiru = I love you/Loving

That "shidoni" part I don't get either. icon_redface.gif "Shidonii" is Sydney in Japanese.

You combined the counting numbers with the amount numbers...they're two different sets.

Set one:

ironic cuz my mom taught me how to count in japanese even though we're not japanese. obviously comes in handy when visiting. also this:

basics when visiting:

hajimema$hite: its meaning is like to our "nice to meet you"
or how do you do
"watashi no namae wa (name) desu" : my name is (name).

konnichiwa is only used when saying "good day or afternoon"
good morning: oh hayo goza imasu.

watashi wa kankokujin desu: i am korean. (i think thats how it goes) icon_neutral.gif

and whatever nationality you are you can insert it in like this:

watashi wa ______ jin desu. koreans have a specific japanese name = kankoku jin. jin means person.

but for americans= amerika jin. or japanese people tend to classify all foreigners as "gaijin" icon_neutral.gif

You can say like "Nihongo ga hanasemasen", "Nihongo ga dekimasen", or like what I like best "Nihongo ha dame (desu)." (I can't speak Japanese worth a damn."

i could never understand the difference between "wa" and "ga"

and also "ikimasu", "kimasu", and "kaerimasu"
FrenchVanillaNYC
"Wa" is roughly saying "About (something)/As for..."
Anata wa? = What about you?

"Ga" is like saying "but..." or stressing something.
Anata ga = But you....(on the other hand)
Oshiri ga! = MY BUTT!!!! embarassedlaugh.gif

I don't know why you confuse those three verbs though. Did you learn them at the same time?

well i learned that they were center oriented...

so that means....

ikimasu = going
kimasu = coming
kaerimasu = returning (home)

right?

damn, i learned this so long ago.... bawling.gif
FrenchVanillaNYC
Right....
