They copied both of them. embarassedlaugh.gif
I think it's cute, you can go to a city with the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty together.

That bridge behind the "Statue of Liberty" is the Rainbow Bridge, it changes colors...it reminded me of San Francisco in more than one ways. embarassedlaugh.gif

I really want to visit Japan... Tokyo is very interesting, full ofthe latest gadgets. Kyoto is the old city, where my family is from. I also want to visit the less known cities and learn local customs.

Beautiful pictures FrenchVanilla =)

supposedly the french gave it to them?

TOKYO (Reuters) -- The scale model used by French sculptor Frederic Bartholdi as a blueprint for the Statue of Liberty has been shipped to Tokyo to take part in Japan's yearlong festival of French culture. The 14-ton statue was divided into six pieces for its month-long journey from Paris, where it is normally on display near a bridge on the Seine River. It will be reassembled at Daiba Beach Park in Tokyo in April. The model's full-sized version, of course, was a gift from the French people in 1884, and stands at the entrance to New York Harbor.
