Do you even believe that it affects our economy?
It has a wider variety than most video stores.
Does it affect the artists at all?
It has the same quality with the original?
Why buy an original?unless you have the cash to burn

yeah, most fake dvds are the same quality as the original one. many of the low quality movies are the ones shot in the theaters

We can't eradicate the watching pirated movies syndrome simply because it is so much cheaper than the orginal ones. Yes, it is not something right to do but do the producers care about reducing the price of the originals. For a wealthy person, the price is irrelevant but for a normal folk, it counts a lot. We pay so much to buy the originals and the producers and the artistes are living in luxuries out of it. At the present situation, there's no doubt the artistes will be affected but still they are making a lot of money. My point is if you can't really afford an original one then don't squeeze yourself to buy it. If you can afford, by all means go get the original one.

I guess what you pay is what you get. Can't complain really.

tru it depends. but if i was to get pirated ones from the philippines, i wouldnt even dare cuz u see ppl standing up in the movie theatres walkin pass the camera. LOL

ive had pirated ones here in canada for free, they dont sell it tho we juz get it from a friend for free. the movie quality is digital and good quality compare to the ones in the philippines. so instead of watchin it on theatres, i watch the latest movies at home.

Every time you buy pirated stuff, Little Miss Sharon Cuneta would have to settle for a pair cheaper swarovski crystal encrusted bakya than her usual diamond encrusted flipflops. Think about that. Long and hard. While you suck on thier long and hard ones.

bad copies aren't worth buying... (although at first it seems like a good idea)
Depends on a person, I go with Quality over Quantity
I think i'd rather Burn DVDs that we rent on Netflix unlimited for a month, better quality than theater cam copies.
Rent newly released Dvds from netflix like 8@A Time for $50.00 a month
Download "ANy DVD" and "Clone DVD" program by slysoft (free trial for a month)
Buy blank DVD medias on sale this thanksgiving ($30 = 100 dvds)
If yall really like a movie like LOTR or STar Wars, buy the originals...
Anywho, Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs are comming. Some people would buy this format i think because of its 1080i 1080p capabilities...
But if your kinda short on cash, then buying Pirated copies would seem like a better choice.... (still bad)

You can actually ask the supplier if the copy is dvd copy or not. A lot of dvd copies are bootlegs smuggled from China that's why the quality can compare to that of the original ones.

In the Philippines, and if you have a call center job, one DVD would cost about 1/10 of your monthly income.

Look, in Asian (EAST and SEA), 90% of DVD is Pirated. Even if you don't want to support it, you'll have no choice.
