There's not much Japanese in here and for some reason most of them who've visited don't stay for long. The only pure Japanese who frequent nationalistic Japanese, nothing wrong with that, but the subjects they talk about hardly interest or attracts the attention of the majority.

That's it! That's the reason I don't come here often. I am generally a friendly, happy, and accepting person and the last several times I came here to read and maybe just take my mind off of my everyday life things, I was really either upset or almost sad/confused. I don't understand why this board is so negative sometimes. The last thread I opened was about how most Japanese people have messed up teeth or stocky legs or just plain ugly. My teeth are straight and I have great legs. I've been told, many times, that I am beautiful, pretty, etc. but that's not the point. I came here wanting Asian friends since I don't interact with Asian people in real life and I want to. I'm starting to think that Asians aren't so accepting and very negative about "other" Asians.

I work with a Chinese girl and I am paranoid as hell to get to know her thinking that maybe she hates Japanese. I mean I am polite to her and I did try talking with her once but she rarely talks to me just to get to know me.
