Don't you guys think the Cantonese way of saying Hong Bao is more better associated with Chinese New Year. Li Shi, Lucky Event..
Well, another time where I visit the temple, jack a a load of those wall hangings and books, and to pray for health, luck, fortune, and happiness for everyone.

I heard this Chinese new year will be around Jan 30th because of the moon/lunar calendar. It's not always in the month of February. This is the year of dog, I believe.
But anyways... GOON HAY FAK CHOY!!!
and... MON SEE SING YEE!!!
now I can't wait for my lucky red pocket money.

Is it just me or have all the Chin-glish spellings gone to hell??
You guys have got to get your Sam Yup or Say Yup together. Remember your C-a-n-t-o-n-e-s-e .... "Gung Hay Fat Choy!" "Sun Nian Fi Lok!" "Sun Tai Ging Hong!" (Year of the) Dogg!
We ABC's only learn the Kowloon village dialect ... "Can't Read, Can't Write ... but a cute way of getting on and off."
