In Malay Kuay or Kuih is mean cake. Am I right?

But any way Kuay(Malay cake) is tasty.

In Thai we have the same food
`kuey tiaw` = flat noodle. And we also call `kuey tiaw`
`char kuey` = We call it pa-tong-koe ,Always sell in the morning 5.00am-8.00am.
It is the trick of some parents to encourage their kid to wake up early by asking their kid to buy `char kuey` in the next day.
Ok this is enough to make me feel starving. munch.gif

Banan is actually gluay/kluay, right. It's tough for beginner non-native speakers to understand Thai with the dropped "r"s and "l"s all over the place, damnit! icon_confused.gif

Usually I can tell if a kuih is good or not just by looking at it and by the physical appearance of the seller.

I would never but anything from an ugly person. From my experience their products are a bit unclean.
