Dear my fellow Malaysians

My name is Retno Wulandari. I am active in Indonesia forum. You already know, I believe icon_smile.gif

I have a concern.

I have a son in Indonesia. He runs our factory in Indonesia. However, the situation in Indonesia is not safe now. I plan to persuade my son to move our factory to Malaysia or China.

Malaysia is safer than Indonesia, and no riots. My son is fluent in Indonesian and English language. Little Mandarin. But, we need to know more about Investment area in Malaysia.

If anybody can give us information about this, I really appreciate that

What kind of investment/factory?
Iron Malayan
Factories employing at least USD100,000 worth of capital for every employee are most welcomed.

Those employing less than this ratio can be considered to be labour intensive and undesirable.

We have 3 factories.

One is plastic, the other is fabric and the rest is packaging.

I believe the 2 factories: plastic and fabric are worth of much bigger than USD100.000.

The other business: packaging is a new business. I am not sure the value of it.

Can you please give me some internet links from your country mentioning about investment procedures and the locations of the investment, please?

I wasn't referring to the cost of factories.

The capital employed per employee ratio can be calculated by dividing the value of investment against the total number of workers.

For plastic, fabric and packaging factories the ratio is usually below USD20,000 which is considered labour intensive.

Just as I thought.

Undesirable.
