One of my older cousins went for omiai(match-making with the possibility of marriage)last weekend.
My mother said that as soon as I come of age, she will sent me back to Japan
for omiai marathon....>.<
Isn't it funny that such old traditions still exist and thrive in modern Japan?
It's popular in Korea too (called jung mae in korean)
What are your views on this?

Haha....it's so funny...
U mean they need help to find partners?
And u mean to say it thrive in Japan?
And why is that so? Can't they find a partner by themselves?

What are my views on it? I agree with it. Infact I think that it should be much much more common in japan for those who cannot find another on their own. It should be part of the child birth campaigne indeed.
