Is sadam hussein or kim jong il guilty for killing their ppl? I mean its like we're saying that how they rule iraq & north korea is wrong cause our way (democracy) is the better way. But then it's not democracy anymore cause we're forcing them to be democracy.
Its just like when theres a parent who hits their kids for doing something wrong or punish them I dunno maybe not give them food for 1 day or sumthing and we want to stop them cause we think its wrong and that our way of raising kids are better. Are we allowed to do that ?? Its a family matters how they raise their kids right?
So is saddam hussein guilty for ruling his country like he wanted to ? When you say that his ppl doesnt like him and thats he's wrong bla bla bla, I also know that what he did to his ppl were wrong but there are still ppl who support him right. Its like bush, there are also ppl who dont like him and there are ppl who like him too. And if you say that we should go with the majority. Then I want to know if its always the best thing to do what the majority wants?? What if the majority choose the wrong decission. Should we like hang an innocent person cause the majority want it to happen, Jesus Christ for eq. Just want to show and eq how the majority arent always right. And then again you can never tell what the majority wants cause not all ppl care enought about these stuff to go voting. And hell we dont have any right to decide how north korean and iraqi ppl should live.....

There's no such thing as democracy in the practical world.

The fact that the US (the supposed land of the free, protector of democracy etc.) can ignore a democratically-led world body (be it the most inept of inept, United Nations) and fight a war which the world opposes, tells you that such a country has no right telling another country how they should go about their political processes.

A true democracy doesn't work anyway as it gives the same power to a person who is completely ignorant on matters to that of a specialist. In my mind, an authoritarian state with a benevolent leader is much superior to a mask of democracy.

^ High Councils can give a better representation of specialists, as well as make better long-term decisions, but this comes at the expense of expediency.

^ I don't want to be as authoritarian as you.
I'm surprised you banned Harry Potter, though; I didn't realize you were a Christian activist's lapdog.
