Our baseball team marches to fourth straight win beating Thailand, 10-0, in the eliminations of the 23rd South East Asian Games here in Rizal Baseball Stadium . This is the third time that the team held their opponents scoreless except for Indonesia who managed to score of five runs last November 29m 2005.

i think we can really do very really well in baseball.. we have been competing
in baseball world cup for years but we cant bring out the best from our players because we dont have a professional baseball league in the country.. i hope some of them will get contracts in professional leagues in japan, taiwan, china, korea or even in MLB to improve their skills...

i agree, baseball is the game for filipinos not basketball.

Yeah what happened to baseball in the Philippines? It used to be big half a century ago. How did it go into decline? My late grandfather was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs and a lot these older Filipino Americans I use to know are big fans of the Chicago Cubs/White Sox. For me I can’t stand basketball. It’s baseball they should adopt into professional leagues not basketball. If you’re a good professional baseball player, you might easily get picked to play in the MLB in the US like other Latin American, Japanese, and Korean players in MLB.
