I have turned off the ability for guest to view signatures and i think pictures. I am considering turning off the ability to view avatar for guest as well. What do you guys think? Hopefully this will help speed up the forum a bit since we have 300+ guest on most of the time. lol

lol I just tested it.. Guest can not see any posted pics unless they click it, and they can not see the smilies! Hmmm I just might turn off avatar too. It does make the forum look a little plain without the smilies lol The smiles are just words. like 8 or whatever the code is lol

This will definitely help speed up the forum, and save bandwidth for the members who post up pictures. Guest will not see the pictures automatically anymore, they will only see the url. Sux for the guests lol. So if you're one of the 300+ guest on right now.. REGISTER NOW! lol

That's a really good idea, in plus it kinda give privileges to members that youll be able to see only if you're a member

For registered members, how can you only disable the signature but leave the avatar intact. Or vice versa?

I'd disabled both because sigs were getting annoying.Didnt realise I disabled avatars as well.
