I don't think I have ever seen Koreans or Chinese with bow legs. Mostly Japanese.

Great example. A site about Japanese fashion. That really shows how most Koreans and Chinese have bow legs.

bow legs may also be caused by diet, not genetics. a lot of asians don't get enough milk as it is not traditionally part of the asian diet.
chickery
^well said.

on that note, i know a few people with bow legs, a few not asian.
northwestern_student
it's also a symptom of rickets, a vitamin D deficiency.

Ya, Koreans do have bow legs, a lot of them that is (not sure if its present today). I think the reasoning behind it is the way they carry their babies. They have the kids legs wrapped around the side of their body in a Bow fashion like this ( ). Since they are young and their bones are forming, they end up forming in that shape. I dunno if Korean mothers carry their babies like this in this day and age, but ya I have heard of this before.

that picture up there is a really severe case.. most people with bow legs are like this (the girl):

idk if this girl is intentionally standing with her feet inverted, but bow legs generally are that shape.
