I have been hearing a lot of people crackin' jokes about Filipinos on the TV and the radio. Just two days ago on MadTV, they made a joke on them. On the radios, they make fun of the kids. I can't really recall any in depth, but all I know is that I have been hearing it on the media. Anyone else been recognizing this?

Ya I know that they normally make fun of Koreans (which are quite funny, such as "Average Asian") but my ears zoomed to the TV when I heard the Filipino joke, since I have been hearing those lately.

it's just cuz you from hawaii. also jokes in pi usually are not as direct as it is in HI. snl and madtv, and the most in general make jokes of Philippines and Filipino as indirect, like jokes where any country or people could be stuck like zimbabwe or something.

you remember the movie "Cat in the Hat" where there was a box that says "Made in the Philippines" and there were 2 things or creatures that poped out.


and many things came out the the box like this messy fantasy world

Ya, I don't live in Hawaii. It's not those Buk Buk jokes, but more like jokes where they say, "Made by little filipino boys" and stuff like that.





Hrmm I never heard a joke on Family Guy about Filipinos, but I remember one on Hawaiians. He was like, "Smelly Hawaiians".

There was this episode where Brian visited his gay cousin in california and his cousin said something about having a new "Filipino Boyfriend"

There was this episode where Quagmire, Peter's friend came from the airport and Brian was a bombsniffing dog...
Brian later found a trace of smell from Quagmire's pants and accused him of having sex with 2 Filipinas.... and a male Filipino

Ok, there was this Family Guy movie called the untold story of Stewie, in that movie..e and Peter were now in nursing home and the old Quagmire later commented that a Filipino nurse had been stealing from him....

There was a joke about Hawaii on the Simpsons. Something about always getting mugged when you leave the hotel.

Ah yes, I remember the first one you mentioned.

I rarely see them make fun of blacks. And when it is, all they make fun of them (which is actually making fun of whites) is how whites are scared of blacks, I aint see them actually make a joke at them. Same with pretty much every other comedian out there.

i think they change it to Filipino because the Korean comedian guy does not want to typecast the Koreans...so they change it to other asian nationality but it was funny cuz even if the role was filipino the name isnt very filipino-sounding but korean still...i mean Kim-Chi?..that name sounds ver korean, its even a korean dish...Kim and park is commonly used in korea..just like maria or mary in the Philippines...
