My absolute FAVORITE J-Rock band. They're so awesome! Some of thier songs are absolutely amazing, like their beautiful ballad Ain't Afraid to Die, to their horribly disturbing, scary song, Zan. The vocalist, Kyo, can look extremely scary at times, and his voice...its just amazing what he can do with it. From sing softly to screaming insanely, to sound like he's laughing, suffocating, screaming, and having an orgasm all at once. And Toshiya's bass guitar skills are unrivaled! I urged thee to checketh this band outeth, lest ye be shunned.

SO, Saint. i'm havin the $hittiest time in finding some lyrics - and praise the holy cow if i find translated lyrics - to The Final (which by the way is a frikkin awesome song), how bout you? i don't even know what he's saying but i'm hooked. gotta be one of their best songs. it gives me giddy chills. or maybe thats because the stoopid weather decided to do a 360 and drop to 30 degrees
But anyway, thats how awesome that song is. Somebody help me out here man. As much as i already love the song, I'd also like to know what he's saying....singing.

yup, pretty popular. they just came out with a new single, Saku. If you look at my sig, that's the vocalist from Dir en Grey in the Saku music video.

CAGE! that song got me addicted to them. I was obsessed with it for so long. If you haven't listend to DeG, i highly suggest you listen to that song.

deG is one of my fav jrock bands.... their awesome. but then i think i like each member is so interesting. but i like kaoru and die the best. hehehe. shinya is a awesome but u'd think he break his skinny arms beatin it so hard. XDD. kyo has an awesome voice.. just cant get sick of it..since i never know what to really expect. :P

because in the REAL WORLD, with different cultures, people behave differently. EVERYBODY in the entertainment uses make up, not just them, and their make up looks loads cooler than the stuff I find the US, xenophobe...who failed first grade english .

That's becuase there's different styles. Such as Jrock , visual kei, and indies.Indies is new bands starting in small companies before signing to a large company.( Some with the heavy make up, Vidoll ^_^ blood) Visaul Kei is more of the bands with heavy make up and unique clothes (And a different style of rock).Examples are Malice Mizer, Kozi-Sama,Dir en Grey,goes off on a long rant.(^_^) Jrock should be the bands that do rock but don't go out of their way to look very unique and are more of the the traditional rock, example SADS. The look is for attention grabbing, matching the music and forming a mood (;;<_< Iluminati and beast of blood)or the just like to dress that way. (Mana dresses fem Daily and offstage becuase he feel's that womens clothing has more style then mens) Well Diru was never scary, but some people claim they were. Currently they aren't going for such a drastic look, but when they do they do it for the viewer's interest. It is really attention grabbing and very beautiful, the details of their music and look is what makes them so interesting. I'm sure some people got into KISS, Marylin Manson, and Culture Club becuase they seemed unique. It isn't a weird thing at all, I'm sure evetually something like that will get to the US becuase it's always like that. Asia has something new for 4 years then the US will get that trend -_-: It was like that for chokers.

Hmmm Shinya has a lot of fangirls to, except I think the Jrocker with the most fangirls is Gackt. Oh well I'm a Kozi-sama fangirl the most.

Well I meant Gackt is a jrocker, becuase that's what he is usually labeled as. I mean I've noticed that he's more upbeat and light and in some jpop magazines, but i think he labels himself as rock. I first liked him, then got into malice and basically loved everything more else except Gackt (he's okay). I suppose people get bored of him becuase he's everywere. I got annoyed with a gackt fan from my school, she was looking for pics of her jpop favorites, then she saw Gackt. I went to school with my ripping folder of Jrock pics then she saw Gackt and was ," OMG!!!~~~ I LOVE HIM !!" She was really talking about his looks more than his music, and I doubt she really listened to his stuff to much. I live in California, by the bay area, (In a suburb about a hour away) so it's a bit strange when a non-asain person just finds pics and obesses over him. (I visit the bay area almost everyweek, the mini asia land) Anyway, I can't really remember any fast X songs but I guess you could listen to Dahlia. Shinya has a while before he can be like his idol, also Kaoru looked up to hide-sama.

Dir en Grey are AWESOME!!! They're not just popular in Japan. They are quite known here as well if you listen to Jrock listener of course.

Yup Yoshiki pwns on the drums. Remember, it was Yoshiki that discovered and produced DeG in the first place. listen to Kurenai, Art of Life, and Orgasm for some pretty insane drumming.
