Semitic features are common in some South Asian groups (based on my observation only), although I wouldn't say a "huge snozza" is specifically an Indian feature.


Yes, a lot of them do have big noses, but a lot of them also have finely shaped noses. A better way of saying it would be that a nose of narrow to medium width would be an Indian feature?

Na, Im not saying always. But I can always spot the difference even if your the lighter complected Indian. I guess I been around alot of South Asians. Im Pacific Islander, Euro, and Asian mixed and for a period of like 5 yrs during college actually hung out in the South Asian community and played myself off as an adopted Desi kid that didnt speak the language. Of course I didnt press it but played on peoples assumptions. Now the more aesthetically inclined would notice my coarsier hair and spot other features that werent on par. I also got Syrian, Turkey and stuff like that. I just think Jeff Goldblum can pass because like somebody said he does have finer features..

If you try to play off as a Desi, you could always pass up as an NE Indian. I'm sure the knowledgeable Desis would believe you.

But to the general public (the ones who think Indians should look a certain way), I don't think she can pass off as Indian.
