i thought jung ryeo won was plain at first too but i saw her in person when i went to korea in late summer / early fall of 2005 and i have to admit, she was extremely beautiful. she looked better in person and she was completely natural. i was at seoul and they were filming this interview in the middle of one of those promenade streets and she was there with eric mun's girlfriend (she was miss korea, i don't know her name) and han ji hye. han ji hye and eric's gf were both in the shade, wearing huge hats so they wouldn't get a tan (in korea, it's considered kind of tacky and manly for a woman to have a tan) and they were totally ignoring all the fans and people who tried to take their pictures and get their autogaphs. but jung ryeo won didn't seem to care about whether or not she got a tan. she just stood under the sun and talked to all her fans, and laughed with them. she didn't wear any make-up either. i was sure of this because i've had to spend most of my teenage years pretending i didn't wear make-up when i did (due to a scary mother) and i came to realize that no matter how nicely applied, a face with make-up shows the make-up. also, most female korean celebrities (i have no idea why) cover their faces with their hands and simper like retards (excuse my political faux paus) but ryeo won was just laughing out loud and naturally without hiding anything. she was completely comfortable with herself. mayhaps it's the years of living outside the korean influence? but in any case, it was really lovely to look at. wheeeew. this is a loooong post. i can't help it. i'm a prolific writer.

oh no, i agree with you, that it wasn't bad of them to ignore their fans, but jung ryeo won just seemed to go that extra mile with her fans and it was extremely nice to see. i was just surprised because she looked extremely pretty up close, much more than in her pictures. i always thought she looked bland, but she was really bright and classy. eh. i guess she's one of those people who just look better in movement.

and as for eric and his gf... i don't know what's going on between them. i don't even know her name.

but one thing i had to notice: jung ryeo won had skin to DIE for. if killing her meant i could get skin like hers... i'd knife her down in a heartbeat. just kidding. haaaaaaa.
