First off, go to an anime forum, go to a general topic area or something that goes close to it and ask What nationality are you?... Read their replies, look at their username, and observe them around the forum. biggrin.gif There you go, you have spotted some Wapanese people.

bah..

all those people are pathetic. they assume they know the japanese language just because they watch anime. Then they spew out 'kawaii' or 'genki' or 'nan-ja' whenever possible to produce the image that they are fluent. I am disgusted by them.

plus they smell like my gym bag. Which really confuses the hell out of me because they are never in the gym.

No, no, I appreciate Japanese culture. I and many others are aficionados of Japanese culture because we study it beyond export pop culture and fleeting media images. On the other hand, wapanese knowledge of Japanese art and literature is limited to manga, their knowledge of Japanese cinema is limited to anime, their knowledge of Japanese history is limited to samurai and ninja, and their knowledge of Japanese cuisine is limited to sushi. That's where we differ.
