Doctor arrested over sex with 15-year-old

A 46-year-old municipal hospital doctor has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 15-year-old girl, police said Friday.
According to Hisamatsu Police Station, the doctor had sex with the girl knowing she was underage and gave her 40,000 yen at a hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, in mid-May.
He allegedly signed up for a club that sends out prostitutes through a Web-based dating service.

Yes..indeed it is. Why would they do put this on the news? Don't this happen everyday everywhere? Like in the American news, there are mostly teachers or adults who do this to teen kids nowadays. Mostly southern. 2 Just kidding...But the most recent one is a teen trying to marry this 39 year old who is ALREADY pregnant with their child in Georigia or something a few months ago.

What do you mean? I see it a lot in anime comic books like Chobits: Volume 2. But I never knew that it was really that common in JP.
